Off the Record Podcast

Our platform, "Off the Record Podcast," exemplifies our commitment to fostering intergenerational dialogues and open community discussions. Through engaging conversations, we facilitate a space where diverse perspectives on sexual and reproductive health are shared, demystifying taboos and promoting understanding. These discussions encourage AGYW and community members to shape public narratives, challenge misconceptions, and contribute to informed decision-making, ultimately leading to positive SRHR outcomes.

- Psychosocial Support and SRHR Education: "Jielewe," translating to "know yourself" in Swahili, encapsulates our psychosocial support and comprehensive sexual and reproductive health education program. Guided by evidence-based methods, Jielewe aims to equip AGYW with accurate information and life skills. By addressing the holistic well-being of AGYW, we empower them to make informed choices about their sexual and reproductive health. Through interactive workshops and one-on-one sessions, Jielewe fosters resilience, agency, and self-awareness among AGYW.

Online Engagements: "Mtandao Talk," our digital engagement initiative, showcases our commitment to bridging gaps and amplifying SRHR awareness. Through insightful articles, engaging Twitter spaces, and live sessions on Facebook, we provide a platform for sharing accurate SRHR policies, information, and service referrals. By leveraging digital spaces, we extend the reach of vital information to AGYW and the wider community, enabling them to access resources, engage in meaningful discussions, and make informed decisions regarding their sexual and reproductive health.

Livelihood Opportunities and Period Dignity: "Link Me Up" stands as a dynamic initiative addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by AGYW. By connecting them with diverse livelihood opportunities, be it education, jobs, or internships, we pave a path towards socio-economic growth and empowerment. Additionally, we combat period poverty and stigma by providing sanitary towels through "Link Me Up." This initiative not only ensures menstrual hygiene but also aims to end the silence surrounding menstruation. Through "Link Me Up," we strive to break down barriers and create a future where AGYW thrive without limitations.
