About Us
Mothers and Daughters Care Initiative (MADACI) stands as a transformative community based organization within Nairobi’s informal settlements and rural Kiambu, driven by the staggering realities that underscore the urgent need for change. With 1 in every 5 teenage girls experiencing early motherhood, and Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) constituting a staggering 74% of new HIV infections among adolescents in sub-Saharan Africa, MADACI is dedicated to rewriting these statistics and crafting a future where AGYW can rewrite their own narratives. Our mission is fueled by the imperative to address vulnerabilities that hinder AGYW from shaping their sexual and reproductive health rights, and consequently, the course of their futures.
